عثرت شركة Bitdefender المتخصصة في مجال الامن و مكافحة الفيروسات على 17 تطبيقا موجودة على متجر جوجل بلاي تحتوي على برامج ضارة تقوم باستنزاف البطارية , و على إثر هذا قامت شركة Bitdefeder بإبلاغ شركة جوجل , و قد تم بالفعل حذف هذه التطبيقات من متجر جوجل بلاي .
و يشار إلى أن هذه التطبيقات تم تحميلها أكثر من نصف مليون مرة , وقد أصابت الالاف من الاجهزة بدون معرفة أصحابها , و تعتبر هذه التطبيقات مصدرا مزعجا للإعلانات , وهذه هي قائمة التطبيقات المعنية .
